Visual Guide to the Acupressure Points for Headaches and Migraines
1. Above the eyebrow
Find the point about one inch above the centre of the eyebrows and massage for a minute to two minutes.
2. Inside of the eyebrow
Follow the eyebrow in with your fingers until you get to the end, just diagonally above the bridge of your nose. Massage for a minute to two minutes.
3. Outside of the eyebrow
Now follow the eyebrow outwards and just beyond the end you will find a slight dip in the skull. Massage this point for a minute to two minutes.
4. Bottom of the nose
Ideal if you suffer from sinus type headaches. Follow the nose down on either side until you reach the point just above the gums. Massage for a minute to two minutes.
5. Back of the head
Follow your hands down the back of the head until you find a crevice at the base of the skull. Massage this point for a minute to two minutes. Ideal for headaches which arise from the back of the head or the neck (cervicogenic headaches).
